Wonderful delicious dip to smear onto a plate or board or to dip into. It is also healthy with fiber and herbs and no added sugar, salt or oil It is a good recipe for use of your leftover pumpkin purée from a can or fresh. I adapted this recipe from the site shown in the recipe below and skipped the sautéing of the garlic and sage in oil
White Bean Pumpkin Hummus Board

Ingredients
DIP
- 1 15-ounce can white beans, drained
- 2/3 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp tahini paste
- 1/2 tsp miso paste or to taste
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder or to taste
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 tbsp dry sage
FOR SERVING (Suggestions)
- Naan bread or pita bread
- Carrots, cucumber, red pepper or vegetables of your choice
- Dry parsley to garnish
Add all the ingredients in a blender and mix till smooth. Smear dip into a large platter or board or smaller ones for individual servings.
Surround the dip with naan bread or pita slices and fresh vegetables you like. I used carrots, red pepper snd cucumber.
