O God, you have sent your Holy Spirit to
hover over
the abyss of our broken world. Help us to be open
to the grace of your coming that you may
create us anew.
Banish our darkness with your wisdom;
set us on the firm ground of counsel and
fortitude.
Bless our coming and going with your
sevenfold gifts,
that your reign may come upon the earth,
that we may live with you for all
eternity. Amen.
