In honor of several friends who have passed away in the past few months including the wonderful and generous hearted Ruth Shaffer who was buried this morning. May they all rest in peace. We are grieving but with hope.
The purple background is to honor the sense of humor of Ruth's grandchild who suggested to color Ruth's hair purple when it was thinning out. It reflects also Ruth's own sense of humor and fun in agreeing to do it.
