curtain went up, after songs
too. souls cry of joy.
Note:
I witnessed recently the exuberance of an appreciative audience in not one but 3 other Broadway plays I attended. I have seen one of them before in the past but I do not remember the same enthusiastic squeals of joy and applause as this second time. The pandemic brought this hunger and the return of the opening of Broadway satisfied this thirst. It was quite an experience to witness sheer joy and gratefulness.
