Slow Cooker Three Ingredient Pork Chops

This is the slow cooker version of the Four Ingredient Lemon Soy Sauce Pork Chop recipe from this blog. The original recipe was pan fried in oil thus the additional ingredient.  This slow cooker version skips the oil altogether. I wanted to see if the delicious tangy salty flavor of the pan fried dish will carry through in this version and it did.  It is just as addictive and satisfying and may I add so easy and convenient.  You have a stick in your ribs dish at the end of the day, just dump the three ingredients before you leave for work and forget it.

Slow Cooker Three Ingredient Pork Chops

  • 8 pork chops
  • freshly ground pepper
  • Zest and juice of 1 fresh lemon
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
Add pepper to each pork chop on both sides.  Place them in the slow cooker and add the zest and juice of one lemon and the soy sauce.  Cook on high for 3 hours or at low for 6 hours.  I cooked mine in an Aroma brand rice cooker/slow cooker for 2 hours at slow cooker setting.

Serve over rice and steamed vegetables.
