I belong to groups
They are like good soups
Our ideas and thoughts blend
Like spices that never end
They nourish
At times I thought I'll perish
They are comforting like minestrone
I always feel at home
I get filled up
When empty is the cup
The discussion can be hot like a bowl of chili
Or unique like a cold soup of strawberry
Always unpredictable
Delightfully delectable.
I always leave feeling stronger at the end
After being with this group of friends
Just what a good soup does
For all of us.
